Our two beautiful private dining rooms are located on the first floor and provide the perfect setting for relaxed family celebrations, Sunday lunches, birthday dinners, working lunches and gatherings with friends.

The Turner Room seats up to 8 guests and is named after landscape artist Joseph Turner, who painted St. Mary’s Abbey with the Cascade. The abbey itself sits just opposite us on Swan Street.

The Barton Room seats up to 12 guests and takes its name from photographer Freda Barton, whose remarkable images captured local families, homes and life in and around West Malling throughout the early 1900s.

We’re grateful to The Malling Society for the inspiration behind our private dining rooms. Their work preserving the history and character of West Malling, including The Freda Barton Collection, continues to celebrate the stories and community that make the town so special.
