We are excited to launch our new Tasting Menu! This very special restaurant menu is not to be missed and celebrates the very best seasonal produce, with excellent wine pairings as an option to match. Our autumn tasting menu includes a selection of snacks to start, a Mereworth Castle beetroot with goats’ cheese and pickled walnut, a course of black truffle gnocchi, a butter poached turbot, a Guinness and treacle marinated sirloin and a salted caramel cream for dessert. Our restaurant tasting menu is priced at £70 per person, or £105 per person including wine pairings.
The tasting menu is served in our West Malling restaurant, alongside our a la carte menu, every Wednesday to Friday lunch and Wednesday to Saturday dinner.

Our popular set lunch menu is a great way to enjoy a mid-week lunch, at a set per person price of two courses for £25 or three course for £28. This restaurant set lunch menu is available Wednesday to Friday alongside our a la carte and chef’s delicious new tasting menu.
On a Wednesday evening we offer a special steak night set menu, where you’ll find the best steak in Kent. Our Scottish dry-aged 9oz sirloin steak is served with onion rings, watercress and a peppercorn sauce for £35 per person including a snack to start and a tasty side dish. Also served on a Wednesday evening are our restaurant a la carte menu and tasting menu.
Start your weekend off with our relaxed brunch menu, our delicious breakfast menu features breakfast classics including fluffy buttermilk pancakes, hot smoked salmon, a croque madame, our signature full English and fresh coffee. Our weekend restaurant brunch menu is served from 9am until 1pm every Saturday and from 9am until 11am on a Sunday.
There is no finer meal to indulge with family and friends than at Sunday lunch, and our restaurant Sunday roast is one of the best in Kent. Our set Sunday lunch menu includes delicious seasonal starters, vegetarian and fish main course options, classics roasts and tempting desserts. Our Sunday roasts includes a roast Kent chicken breast, roast Scottish sirloin and a 24-hour hay baked venison shoulder. No Sunday roast would be complete without tasty trimmings including beef dripping roast potatoes and epic Yorkshire puddings.
We take great care in curating a balanced and interesting wine-list, and for us that must include award-winning English sparkling wines such as those from the Balfour Hush Heath Estate here in Kent, Chapel Down, Rathfinny and Nyetimber. Our cocktail and spirits list champions interesting producers too including a first batch George Bishop gin from Maidstone Distillery.
St. Leonard’s, with its bar and restaurant, is in the very heart of bustling West Malling on Swan Street. You’ll find plenty of charming independent shops, florists, gift shops, and coffee shops in our charming market town. West Malling Farmers Market is not to be missed and is usually held on the 4th Sunday of each month and showcases great local Kent produce.
